Evening symposium for a broad audience, including amateur astronomers, policy makers, dark sky-experts, astrophotographers, dark sky-lovers. The symposium will be held during the annual Night of the Night event on 26 October 2019. The symposium will be followed by a Star Party at the central 2019 location of the Night of the Night, a historical fortress in the center of the Netherlands. The aim of the symposium and star party: Raise awareness for the preservation and protection of the world’s cultural and natural heritage of dark and quiet skies.
