We Share the Moon
We Share the Same Moon is an innovative project to create an inclusive approach to science education, by introducing science through storytelling.

We Share the Same Moon will create online resources including:
-
Storytelling Resource of folktales of the Moon - gathered from 176 communities living in UK - compiled as written text, audio recordings, “Kamishibai” (Japanese Story Cards) and BSL interpreted film
-
Science Resource with a range of creative activities for use with children aged between 4 - 11 years, in and out of formal education.

The stories will spark children’s imagination and lead them into science exploration, enabling both educator and children to enjoy learning science together, with a minimum of resources and the maximum of creativity and fun.
Country/Region
Resources will be created in cities, towns and villages across the United Kingdom - and collated online for use in science education worldwide
